This blog is made for people who wish to know more about finance, stock markets, and geo-political issues affecting those markets.

I am 30 years old, and I have decided it was time to find out more about what makes the global economy tick. I am not an expert, I have taken no official schooling or any courses in finance. This is my personal journey and I invite you to walk along with me as I take the first steps into this arena.

I am writing this in hopes of chronicling my problems, solutions, and valuable information that I find along the way, and to pass it on to people who find themselves in similar situations.

I will try to share any valuable information I find, as well as do some book reviews and try to explain the things that some may be too scared to ask ;) I know I've had a lot of questions about things like stocks, and bonds.. what are they? How do they work? What is going "long" and what does it mean to be "short"? All these things are foreign and so I hope to provide a service that some might find valuable.
